The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members – and IAFF members only – who are struggling with addiction, PTSD other related behavioral health challenges to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.
Pahrump Valley Firefighters Association IAFF Local 4068 was established September 1, 2000 in Pahrump, NV. This website is not monitored 24/7/365. Dial 9-1-1 for emergencies. Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue (PVFR) is located in the growing Town of Pahrump in the southern part of Nye County and Nevada. PVFR serves over 50,000 citizens in the Town of Pahrump and surrounding communities, responds to an average of 10,000 calls of service a year and covers approximately 360 square mile area. PVFR currently has 42 Firefighter positions or 14 Firefighter positions per shift (A,B,C). The 14 positions a shift are broken down to 1 Captain overseeing 13 Firefighters spread dangerously thinning across 4 fire stations, which falls well below NFPA and Southern Nevada fire departments industrial standards.
